Online mentoring starts October 2026

Our free Online Mentoring Programme returns in October 2026, with weekly one-to-one STEM, IT and English support from volunteer mentors through to March.

Our Online Mentoring Programme returns in October 2026. Young people from refugee, asylum-seeking and forced-migrant backgrounds are paired with a volunteer mentor for free weekly sessions, running from October through to March.

What mentoring covers

STEM, IT and English support tailored to each student
Homework and coursework help alongside longer-term skills
CVs, cover letters and university applications
Mock interviews, including for medical school and Oxbridge

Sessions are one-to-one or in small groups, and take place online.

Summer School 2026 at UCL has now finished — thank you to every student, volunteer and supporter who took part. Keep an eye out for Summer School 2027; dates and applications will be announced on our apply to our programme page.
